QUALITY GUARANTEED

SMARTER SCANNING

Defying convention, we borrowed the latest CAT scanning techniques from medical science to examine our engines. Why? To know that the inside of every engine is perfect. CAT allows us to explore in 3D, meaning we can check for imperfections with absolute precision.

NEXT-LEVEL EXPERIMENTATION

VR SAFETY TESTING

Taking our testing to the next level, we use virtual reality to create an immersive experience that simulates driving conditions and driver reactions. Crafting tests that are impossible in the real world, we gather feedback to improve and develop an array of safety features and technology.

Taking place inside a smart dome, a Lexus LS is surrounded by wrap-around screens displaying realistic projected images of city and highway driving. Cylinders move to simulate turning, climbing, acceleration and deceleration, accompanied by audio recordings of engine noise, vibration and wind.
