Omotenashi is a Japanese concept that centres around hospitality, which inspired us to create the ultimate luxury car experience with the LS. As the door handles illuminate and the car raises itself three centimetres to help you inside, experience a personal greeting from the LS.
To adorn the LS, we turned to Japanese culture. Inspired by a new approach to upholstery, tradition and advanced manufacturing combine. Hand-pleated door panels reflect origami, whilst the Nishijin and Haku door panels mirror the art of simulation with black and silver weavings.
With impeccable quality and stitching, the LS leather seats echo Takumi craftsmanship. Three grades are available: Smooth, Semi-Aniline* and L-Aniline*. Plus, a leather and finely grained wood inlay steering wheel is part of the LS Premium Pack and standard Takumi grades too.

For passengers travelling in one of the LS rear power seats*, you’ll enjoy supreme comfort. To stretch out, select the ‘Relax’ position which automatically extends to support your legs, while the seat reclines to a comfortable 48° – an angle selected after extensive testing with people of a variety of body types.
To reduce fatigue and enhance relaxation, both rear seats in the LS are available with a highly sophisticated massage function. Developed with an expert in the Japanese technique of shiatsu massage, the pressure, rhythm and flow are deeply satisfying and refreshingly unique.
